Digital sounds of Aotearoa

Land of the
Long White
Noise

Sounds created digitally so you can feel like your ears are in the clouds, rivers, and peaks of Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Project

Noise as landscape.
Landscape as feeling.

White, pink, and brown noise samples, all digitally sculpted to carry the character of places most people will never stand. The roar of Huka Falls the lofty peak of Tapuae-o-Uenuku and the wide pull of the Rakaia River.

Each track is its own geography, so put on headphones and close your eyes. You'll feel like you're somewhere else.

from across Aotearoa?

Volume I is just a taster. There are more places for your ears to wander, so I'll be working on more encounters with glaciers, harbours, volcanic plains, the native bush. Get in touch if you want something specific - or just want to support what comes next.
